Job Description

We're seeking a Temporary Marketing Specialist for a fully temporary, one-month assignment targeted to start late August, with potential to begin sooner depending on availability. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence in Washington, DC Tuesdays and Thursdays. Parking is not included.

In this role, you'll support the marketing and communications team with content creation, digital outreach, and administrative coordination. It's a great short-term opportunity for someone who enjoys creative work, collaboration, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, produce, and manage content for websites and social media
  • Assist in building and engaging online audiences through digital channels
  • Provide general administrative and project support
  • Coordinate timelines and deliverables across multiple stakeholders
  • Support digital campaigns, email outreach, and online engagement efforts
  • Edit and proofread written materials for accuracy and tone

Qualifications:

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience with social media, website content, and digital marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact, Hootsuite)
  • Familiarity with graphic design and video tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Premiere) preferred
  • Website content management experience (e.g., WordPress) a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
